The Tale Behind the Taste

Colombia, Guatemala, and Indonesia

Tripod is our darkest roast, created for coffee lovers who appreciate bold flavor with exceptional balance. Coffees from Colombia, Guatemala, and Sumatra combine to produce a rich, full-bodied cup that remains smooth from the first sip to the last.

Colombia – Huila

Washed coffees from small family farms in Huila provide the backbone of the blend. Grown at elevations between 1,500 and 1,800 meters, they bring sweetness, structure, and chocolate notes that keep the darker roast balanced rather than bitter.

Guatemala – Huehuetenango

Our Guatemala coffee, sourced through the La Morena Program, contributes clean sweetness and lively acidity. Even in a dark roast, these high-grown coffees help maintain clarity and balance.

Sumatra – Aceh

Wet-hulled coffees from Aceh complete the blend with the characteristics Sumatra is known for: syrupy body, earthy sweetness, cedar, baking spices, and a lingering finish that stands up beautifully to darker roasting.

Rich by Design

Colombia provides sweetness and structure. Guatemala contributes balance and elegance. Sumatra delivers the bold body and lingering finish that define Tripod. The result is a dark roast that's rich and full-flavored without overwhelming smokiness.

Roasted to a dark profile, Tripod is ideal for drip coffee, French press, espresso, moka pot, or cold brew.
